PN#567890/R Single Roller Instructions

Prior to installing sprockets onto camshafts be sure that the teeth do not touch the secondary tensioner casting. Due to casting variations this MUST always be checked and clearanced as needed. The Picture below shows the areas that may need minor clearancing. This can easily be accomplished with a small hand grinder, we suggest at least .010 minimum clearance between gear teeth and tensioner body casting.

The supplied large washers must be placed under the head of the secondary tensioner on the passenger side. Simply slide the washer over the tensioner and then slide tensioner into the cam cap bore. You must repeat this on both sides UNLESS you have the red MMR tensioner bracket as shown below, in which case you will only use 1 washer on the passenger side the other washer will not be used on the driver side.

The remainder of the install is same as factory including timing procedure. ALWAYS submerge chains in oil prior to installation. Failure to install a lubricated chain can cause premature wear and failure!
